A seminar titled “Poly Lactic Acid (PLA)”

A seminar titled
“Poly Lactic Acid (PLA)”

Presented by Dr. (Sahar Adnan Sheet), a faculty member at our center.

The seminar, titled “Poly Lactic Acid (PLA),” discussed polylactic acid and its significance from both environmental and industrial perspectives, particularly in the medical and food sectors.

Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) is a plastic that is easy to process, biocompatible, and biodegradable. As a result, it is used in medical implants such as stents and implantable drug delivery devices designed to biodegrade over time. Poly Lactic Acid is also used in food packaging, single-use utensils, and can be formed into fibers for clothing.
