Continuing education course lectures continue for the third day.
On the third day, October 24, 2023, of the continuing education course entitled “The Tigris River between Reality and Ambition,” which is held by the Environmental Research Center, there was a lecture on water entitled “Emerging Pollutants in Water,” delivered by Dr. Zakaria Nafi Mahmoud Shehab (a staff member of our center), in which he explained the pollutants introduced into water are a growing source of concern in rivers due to their potential negative effects on human health and the environment. Therefore, the sources of these pollutants in the environment must be understood.
