Conclusion of the continuing education course entitled (The Tigris River between Reality and Ambition).
On the last day of the continuing education course, corresponding to October 26, 2023, which was held by the Environmental Research Center, a lecture was given on water pollution, entitled “Environmental Effects of Wastewater Discharge into the Tigris River,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Safwa Walid Ahmed (a lecturer at our center). A test was followed for all participants in the course, then Dr. Saba Khairuddin Al-Taie (Director of the Environmental Research Center) gave a brief lecture on the pollution occurring in the Tigris River, in which she explained all kinds of difficulties and obstacles that hinder the process of reducing the damage from that pollution.
