Radioactive contamination of groundwater.

In order to shed light on the type of radioactive isotopes that can be present in groundwater, their sources, and the extent of their impact on public health, on Monday, May 13, 2024, the Environmental Research Center held a panel discussion entitled “Groundwater Pollution with Natural Radioactive Substances,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Safwa Walid Ahmed (staff member of our center) in the center’s lecture hall, attended by the center’s teachers and employees.
