Dr. Saba Khair al-Din al-Taie’s participation in the closing conference of the draft Nineveh Vision.

Under the supervision and attendance of the respected Governor of Nineveh, Mr. Abdul Qader al-Dakhil, Dr. Saba Khair al-Din al-Taie (Head of the Environmental Research Center) participated last Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in the activities of the second day of the Public Participation Conference for the principles of Nineveh Vision 2030 under the slogan ((Our Vision: People First)) organized by the World Center for Social Services and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakkak al-Badrini, the Deputy Governor for Planning Affairs, the Deputy Governor for Displaced Persons and Organizations Affairs, a number of department directors and section directors in the Nineveh Governorate Diwan, members of the Vision Preparation Committee, academics in economics, figures from the private sector, community and religious figures, and civil society organizations.

Several dialogue sessions were held on the Nineveh Vision 2030 and its promising sectors.
Nineveh Vision 2030 aims to develop Nineveh Governorate in various fields, as well as enhance sustainable development, improve the quality of life for citizens, raise the efficiency of infrastructure, and increase economic opportunities by establishing the foundations of a prosperous and advanced society by 2030. At the end of the conference, the Deputy Governor for Planning Affairs, Eng. Ahmed Younis, delivered the closing statement of the conference and recommendations on Nineveh Vision 2030.
