The Environmental Research Center continues its summer training program for students from the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), the Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul continues its summer training program for students from the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Riyad Mahmoud Saleh and Mr. Muhammad Qasim, addressed the environmental problems faced by graduates of environmental colleges and those interested in environmental affairs. It also addressed issues of determining the quality of water in its various sources and its suitability for various uses, whether for human consumption, agriculture, industry, or other purposes.
The lecture also addressed the most prominent challenges that student trainees may face in their professional careers, citing numerous real-life examples of environmental problems and ways to control pollution and manage environmental resources sustainably.
