A faculty member from the Environmental Research Center participates in the discussion of a master’s thesis.
Assistant Professor Taha Ahmed Al-Tayyar, Head of the Department of Environmental Systems and Information at the Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul, supervised and served as a member of the committee that discussed the master’s thesis submitted by student Huthaifa Mahmoud Aziz at the College of Environmental Sciences. The thesis was titled:
(A Study on Improving Groundwater Quality in Agricultural Areas Using Sustainable Methods and Its Impact on Food Security).
The thesis addressed the scientific and research aspects and commended the efforts made in completing this academic work, which contributes to addressing contemporary environmental challenges in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and Goal 15 (Life on Land)
