The Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul Participates in a Dialogue Session on Environmental Pollution and Medical Waste
A team from the Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul participated in a dialogue session organized by the Tahrir Association for Development on Monday, September 29, 2025, titled “Environmental Pollution in Bashiqa and Medical Waste in Mosul Hospitals.” The session, organized with the participation of the federal government, was part of the “Empowering Citizens to Advance Towards Good Governance” project, funded by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
The session aimed to address the problem and the challenges it faces from all aspects and to enhance inter-institutional cooperation to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
