📌 Mass Graves in Iraq: Memory that Speaks for Justice

As part of scientific and awareness-raising activities, an educational poster entitled “Mass Graves in Iraq” was prepared and displayed to highlight the importance of preserving national memory and documenting the crimes and violations suffered by the Iraqi people, while emphasizing the principles of justice, accountability, and the rule of law.

The poster addressed the legal, humanitarian, and social dimensions of mass graves, their role in uncovering the truth, safeguarding the rights of victims and their families, and supporting efforts to achieve justice and reconciliation. It also emphasized the importance of academic documentation and cooperation among relevant institutions to preserve evidence and protect historical memory.

Remembering these tragic events is a national and moral responsibility that contributes to promoting human rights, preventing future violations, and building a society founded on justice, peace, and respect for human dignity.
