Environmental Research Center Visits Nineveh Environment Directorate
As part of strengthening cooperation and scientific collaboration between academic institutions and environmental authorities, a delegation of faculty members and staff from the Environmental Research Center, University of Mosul, visited Nineveh Environment Directorate to congratulate Rana Al-Taie on her appointment as the new Director of the Nineveh Environment Directorate.
During the visit, the delegation toured the directorate’s laboratories and reviewed their scientific and technical capabilities. Discussions were also held on prospects for future cooperation in environmental research, scientific activities, and joint initiatives that support environmental protection and sustainable development.
This visit reflects the commitment of both institutions to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
