Under the auspices of the Honorable Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and
under the supervision and presence of the Director of the Mosul University Libraries, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, and in implementation of the Third National Plan for Woman and Peace, the Continuing Education Division at the Central Library, in cooperation with the Woman’s Affairs Unit and the Sustainable Development Unit ,Department of Studies and Planning at the Presidency of the University of Mosul organized today, 4/27/2026, the workshop entitled: (The Inspiring Woman in Iraqi Cultural Awareness)which was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Eman Abdul Wahab and Assistant lecturer Halla Abdul Monem Mohammed. It was conducted and presented by Mrs. Rawaa Asim Nori at the Central Library building of the University of Mosul .The workshop covered the role of Iraqi woman in shaping cultural awareness and highlighting inspiring Iraqi female models in literature, politics and engineering, in addition to enhancing the role of woman as a key pillar in building national culture and highlighting the most important social, economic and political challenges facing woman. Thus, the workshop attained the fourth goal: good education, the fifth goal: gender equality, and the tenth goal: reducing inequalities from sustainable development goals.
