Under the supervision of the Director of the University Libraries, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed. The General Directorate of the Central Library held a panel discussion entitled:

«Bribery and its impact on society»

The seminar addressed a number of important topics related to the concept of bribery, the reasons for its spread, and its negative impacts on society and state institutions, because it is weakening the moral values and harming the principle of justice and equal opportunities, in addition

to its direct impact on the level of public services and trust in institutions.

It also discussed ways to reduce this phenomenon by strengthening the principles of integrity and transparency, spreading legal and societal awareness, and consolidating professional and ethical responsibility in a way that contributes to building a sound work environment and a society of justice and respect for the law.

The panel discussion attained the following goals: (Sixteenth goal: Peace, justice, and strong institutions. The fourth goal: Good education) is one of the sustainable development goals.
