Mosul Studies Center Participates in a Scientific Symposium at the College of Education for Women, University of Mosul

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and as part of the Center’s efforts to encourage faculty members to participate scientifically and academically in the activities of the University of Mosul, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit/Presidency of the University of Mosul, faculty members from the Mosul Studies Center participated. These included Professor Dr. Maha Saeed Hamid, with her research entitled: “The Position of Mosul’s Hadith Scholars on the Mu’tazilites,” and Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Hazem Al-Ghadhanfari, with his research entitled: “Scientific Journeys Between Mosul and Aleppo During the Nurid State (541-569 AH/1146-1173 AD).”
This participation took place within the sessions of the scientific symposium entitled “The Scientific Efforts of Mosul’s Scholars: Between Originality and Innovation,” held by the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education for Women on Monday, December 22, 2025. This participation contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4 and 5. 8, 11, and 17.
