Mosul Studies Center Honors One of Its Retiring Staff Members
In line with the directives of the University of Mosul’s President, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, to honor retiring staff members and in appreciation of their contributions and efforts, the Mosul Studies Center at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning and the Sustainable Development Unit of the University Presidency, held a ceremony honoring Ms. Basma Ali Mohammed Amin Al-Husseini on the occasion of her retirement. The ceremony was attended by a number of the center’s faculty and staff.
During the ceremony, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, the center’s director, delivered a speech praising Ms. Basma’s distinguished service to the center, highlighting her dedication and sincere contributions. He wished her continued health and well-being and a new beginning filled with success, happiness, and prosperity after her retirement.
The attendees affirmed that Ms. Basma’s efforts would remain etched in their memories. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Center’s Director presented Ms. Basma with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of her distinguished career and dedication to serving the university and the Center, as well as her sincere commitment to fulfilling her duties with integrity and responsibility, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 5, 8, and 10.
