Under the patronage of
Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of
Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit, University of Mosul, and as part of the activities of the Sustainable Development Committee at the Mosul Studies Center, the Center held a workshop entitled: (The Financial System and its Impact on Accounting Practices).
The workshop was presented by: Ms. Ahlam Aref Suleiman, Accounts Officer, Mosul Studies Center.
The workshop was managed by: Dr. Suhaib Mahmoud Khader, Mosul Studies Center.

Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Mosul Studies Center building. The aim of this workshop was to highlight the financial system’s operational mechanism at the center, specifically regarding payroll processing, related statements concerning allowances, promotions, deductions, and other matters, and their impact on organizing accounting work.

This aligns with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 5, and 8.
