Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul,
and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center,
and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit/University of Mosul Presidency.

Upon an official invitation from Dr. Omar Al-Zaidy, Director of the Electronic Computing Center, and in furtherance of the Mosul Studies Center’s participation in scientific and cultural activities within the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Hazem Al-Ghadhanfari, Head of the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Center, attended the opening ceremony of the First International Scientific Conference entitled: [Conference Title Missing]. The conference, organized by the Electronic Computing Center, was held from February 11-12, 2026. The opening ceremony witnessed a large turnout and significant international participation, particularly from the Malaysian delegation. The conference proceedings commenced in the Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall at the University of Mosul, aiming to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goals 4, 9, and 12.
