An educational lecture entitled “Preserving Rare Books: The Mosul Studies Center Library as a Model”

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit, University of Mosul, and as part of the activities of the Library Committee at the Mosul Studies Center, the Center is holding an educational lecture entitled: (Preserving Rare Books: The Mosul Studies Center Library as a Model). The workshop will be presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center and Head of the Center’s Library Committee. The workshop will be moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Obaidi, Head of the Department of Literary Studies and Documentation, Mosul Studies Center. The lecture will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026, in the Center’s Art Hall. This initiative aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4 and 11.
