Attending a Training Workshop

As part of the Mosul Studies Center’s efforts, represented by its director, Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, to monitor activities related to human rights, Dr. Huda Yassin Al-Dabbagh, Head of the Human Rights Committee and a faculty member in the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Center, attended the official meeting organized by the Human Rights Division at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency. The meeting was held under the patronage and in the presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and follow-up of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jassim, in the University of Mosul Presidency Hall on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The meeting was significant as it marked the first anniversary of the establishment of the Human Rights Division at the University of Mosul. Its purpose was to review and discuss future plans aimed at strengthening human rights principles and achieving the values ​​of justice and peaceful coexistence within the university environment, thereby contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 5, 10, and 16.
