Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit/University of Mosul Presidency, regarding the preparation of activities aimed at reducing financial and administrative corruption, the Mosul Studies Center held a workshop entitled “Reducing Financial and Administrative Corruption.” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Huda Yassin and Professor Dr. Maha Saeed, and moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Obaidi. It took place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 11:30 AM in the Formation Hall, with the attendance of faculty and staff of the center.

The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of financial and administrative corruption and the role of accountability in combating it, as well as ways to reduce all forms of financial and administrative corruption at all levels, in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 11, and 16.
