Mosul Studies Center Participates in Renewable Energy and its Modern Applications Course

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Director of the Mosul Studies Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit/University of Mosul, and as part of the Center’s efforts to involve its staff in courses that serve their field of work, in accordance with the directives of the University of Mosul, Dr. Suhaib Hazem Al-Ghadhanfari, Head of the Department of Historical and Social Studies, along with Mr. Mohammed Muslim Khader, Head of Administrative Affairs at the Mosul Studies Center, participated in the course entitled: (Renewable Energy and its Modern Applications). The course was held by the Continuing Education Center at the University of Mosul from June 14-18, 2026, with the participation of a number of University of Mosul staff members. This participation is part of the Center’s programs aimed at developing scientific and professional skills, keeping pace with technological advancements, and introducing participants to the concepts of renewable energy and its various sources, particularly solar and wind energy, in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goals 4, 7, and 8.
