As part of a series of scientific workshops, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nizar al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and in cooperation with the Presidency of the University of Mosul/Center for Continuing Education, the Mosul Studies Center held a scientific workshop entitled:
(Mechanism for Registration and Access to Mosul Studies Journal) delivered by Professor Dr. Maysoon Thanoon al-Abayji, College of Arts, Oriental Studies Unit
and moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Orouba Jamil Mahmoud, Mosul Studies Center. The workshop took place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Peace Hall, College of Arts. The workshop was attended by a distinguished group of professors from the Department of History and staff from the Deanship of the College of Arts, as well as professors from the Mosul Studies Center. The workshop aimed to familiarize researchers with the registration and access procedures for Mosul Studies Journal. The workshop was presented in the form of a Power Point presentation. The workshop was divided into three axes:
– Providing a historical overview of Mosul Studies Journal since its inception under the name Mosul Papers The efforts of the center’s former directors in developing it.
– The journal’s transition from print to digital publishing.
– The mechanism for researchers to register for the Mosul Studies Journal and the steps involved.
– How to access the journal and submit research as a researcher or reviewer.
The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates of participation to the lecturer and the session chair.
