Mosul Studies Center Attends a Workshop on Strategic Plan Preparation

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, the Department of Studies and Planning/Presidency of the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, held a workshop on preparing a strategic plan for colleges and research centers. The workshop was attended by the Director of the Mosul Studies Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh, and Prof. Dr. Maha Saeed Hamid, Quality Assurance and University Performance Officer and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Center; Mr. Ali Mukhlef Jamil, Head of the Academic Affairs Division at the Center; and Mr. Ali Majid. The workshop addressed the strategic vision, environmental achievement, social responsibility in education, and community partnerships with institutions that serve the community. It also emphasized the importance of providing academic programs that are compatible with the labor market, promoting scientific research, linking it to sustainable development, and achieving its goals.
