Under the patronage of the esteemed Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and in implementation of the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security, Pillar (Protection and Prevention) for the year 2025, regarding the eighth paragraph on conducting awareness campaigns on climate change and raising awareness of the health, economic, and security risks associated with it, the Women’s Affairs Committee at the Mosul Studies Center, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency, is holding a seminar entitled: (Towards a Green Environment and Ensuring a Sustainable Future). The seminar will be presented by: 1. Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh, with a research paper entitled: Raising University Students’ Awareness of the Importance of Environmental Preservation. 2. Assistant Professor Dr. Hanan Abdul Khaliq Al-Sabaawi, with a research paper entitled:
The Impact of Desertification and Its Risks on the Environment. The seminar will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the Mosul Studies Center building. Seminar moderator: Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Jassim Muhammad Al-Sabaawi, Mosul Studies Center.
