The Mosul Studies Center implements a volunteer campaign to support needy families as part of the University of Mosul’s Institutional Ramadan Basket initiative.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit/University of Mosul, and as part of the center’s volunteer activities within the University of Mosul’s Institutional Ramadan Basket initiative, the Mosul Studies Center distributed (50) Ramadan baskets to needy families in the Al-Zanjili area. This distribution, overseen by the committee assigned to the campaign on behalf of the participants, took place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 1, 2, and 3.
