Mosul Studies Center Participates in Graduation Research Discussions
The Geographical Thought Committee at the College of Education for Humanities – Geography Department discussed the graduation research projects of fourth-year students in the department, including two projects supervised by the Director of the Mosul Studies Center, Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh. The two research projects were titled:
– “News of Mosul and its Surroundings According to Abu Ubayd al-Bakri (d. 487 AH) in his book ‘Al-Masalik wa’l-Mamalik'” (Routes and Kingdoms), by student Mahmoud Ahmed Juma.
– “Description of the Road Between Mosul and Nusaybin in Light of Geographical Sources,” by student Muhammad Nazim Abdullah.
The graduation project discussion committee consisted of Dr. Hiba Salem Yahya, Dr. Firas Ghanem Muhammad, and Professor Bahaa Taha Suleiman, all professors in the Geography Department. The projects aim to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 11, and 17.
