Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence Center

The Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence at the University of Mosul is constantly working to promote and maintain peace. In order to create indicators of peace in Iraq and decide on the best way to apply them, a group of specialists convened on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. These indicators will serve as a guide for our partners in the nation, who are government institutions and civil society organizations. This meeting was attended by the center’s staff as well as a group of specialized academics and members of active civil society organizations. The participants underlined the significance of creating peace indicators, the outcomes they can produce, and their capacity to give decision-makers a vision. driving the wheel of growth, eradicating the causes of conflict, promoting positive peace, and guaranteeing its sustainability.
