The conference is held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs.

This year’s conference is titled:
“Environmental Balance and Its Impact on Building Peace: Challenges, Opportunities, and Solutions.”

The first day witnessed distinguished participation from academics across Iraq, featuring 16 research papers distributed across two main themes:
• Law and Human Rights
• Sociology and Media

The conference will continue over two days. The second day will include three additional themes, presenting 24 research papers, reflecting a rich diversity of perspectives that contribute to promoting peace and coexistence.
