The Peacebuilding Center (P.P.C.C.) announce the 2025 Annual Report “974 beneficiaries and programs aligned with SDGs

The Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence at the University of Mosul has released its 2025 annual report, titled “From Research Vision to Community Impact,” documenting the impact of its activities. According to the infographic summary, the Center primarily targeted students (40%) as key agents of community transformation, followed by the local community (23%), faculty (19%), and staff (18%). This reflects a dual approach that strengthens capacity within the university while promoting social cohesion beyond it.

Participation included 58% males and 42% females. The infographic also highlights strategic partnerships supporting the Center’s programs, notably the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID), and the Religion and Security Council (RSC), which enhanced opportunities for high-quality programming and broader impact.

In 2025, the Center’s activities aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly quality education (4), gender equality (5), clean water and sanitation (6), decent work and economic growth (8), reduced inequalities (10), climate action (13), peace, justice and strong institutions (16), and partnerships for the goals (17), reinforcing the Center’s mission to translate academic efforts into sustainable societal impact.
