Meeting of the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering Administration with the Reservoir Engineering Staff in Support of Quality Education and Institutional Efficiency

Within the activities of the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Ma’n Hassan Abdullah Al-Majid, Dean of the College, held a meeting with the staff of the Petroleum Reservoir Engineering Department, during which the progress of the educational process and the requirements for enhancing academic and practical performance within the department were discussed.
The meeting reviewed the key challenges facing the teaching staff and proposed practical solutions to address them, ensuring the creation of a more efficient and smooth learning environment for students. The Dean also emphasized the importance of strengthening communication between academic departments and administrative committees, as well as supporting initiatives that contribute to developing the research and practical skills of students.
The meeting outcomes were aligned with the principles of sustainable development, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by focusing on improving teaching quality and updating instructional methods, in addition to Goal 16 (Effective Institutions) by enhancing governance and institutional coordination within the college to ensure the continuity of academic work efficiently.
This meeting comes as part of the College’s commitment to supporting the teaching staff and providing the necessary requirements for academic success, reflecting its mission to serve the university community and promote continuous development.
