A New Book by Director of Regional Studies Center titled Economic Development of Iraq after Stability
Dr. Nawfal Qasim Al-Shahwan recently released a new book entitled “Economic Development of Iraq after Stabilization, Nineveh: An Approximate Case,” by Noon Printing and Publishing House in Mosul – Iraq, distributed by Bashar Library. The book includes (430) large-sized pages. Its topics included seven chapters, twenty-six sections, and (133 ) analytical titles, as well as tables, figures, frameworks, and charts.
The book aimed to review the permeability of the research plan and its analysis on the ground by benefiting from scientific results and conclusions about the foundations of Iraq’s economic development and estimates of cases of handling, with entries about the reality of economic development.
It covered topics such as the economic and social development map of Iraq; theoretical background and policy issues; local governance, finance, and economic management; rehabilitation of the agricultural sector; the reality of municipal and basic services; development of public services; estimating the effects of the lack of public services on society and the economy; In addition to economic analyses that involved the dimensions of governance and public money; the agricultural sector; shortages of public services; electrical energy; and processing from the private sector; drinking water; sanitation; solid waste; and infrastructure services on the ground within a decade.
