Regional Studies Center Holds a Scientific Lecture on Scientific and Administrative Corruption Behaviors in Scientific Institutions

Regional Studies organized a scientific lecture entitled “Scientific and Administrative Corruption Behaviors in Scientific Institutions and Mechanisms to Address them”, delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Faris Turki Mahmood, on January 22, 2025.

The lecture aimed to throw light on the harmful intellectual and administrative practices that hinder scientific progress and intellectual development in scientific institutions. The lecture discussed three main axes; the first axis covered harmful intellectual ideas and visions that negatively affect the intellectual structure of society. The second axis focused on corrupt behaviors in scientific and administrative institutions and how they affect institutional performance. In the third axis, practical solutions were proposed to deal with these behaviors, and effective mechanisms were presented to reduce their effects. The lecture received positive interaction from the attendees, who emphasized the importance of adopting sound scientific and administrative values to ensure a healthy and sustainable academic environment.
