The Remote Sensing Center participated in an international training workshop at the Global Leadership & Training Summit, which convened on 15 February 2026. Professor Dr. Hikmat Subhi Al-Daghastani represented the Center virtually at the conference, which brought together a distinguished group of academics and experts from various countries. The summit was sponsored by A.S.R – American Science and Research Organization Inc., United States of America.

Dr. Al-Daghastani was selected as Chair of the Conference Research Committee and also serves as a member of the organization’s Administrative Board. His participation contributed to discussions on key themes of the summit, including the development of academic leadership, institutional capacity building, enhancement of training systems, and scientific empowerment. The event further facilitated the exchange of expertise and experiences aimed at advancing academic and research performance.
