Remote Sensing Center Organizes a Scientific Workshop in Collaboration with the College of Environmental Sciences

The College of Environmental Sciences, in collaboration with the Remote Sensing Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Climate Change and Environmental Data Sources and Downloading Methods” on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

The workshop was delivered by Professor Sabah Hussein Ali, a faculty member at the Remote Sensing Center, and Assistant Lecturer Layali Adel Saber from the College of Environmental Sciences. It aimed to highlight key issues related to climate change, as well as to explain environmental data sources and methods for downloading and analyzing them using modern techniques—supporting scientific research and enhancing data-driven environmental decision-making.

The workshop was attended by a number of researchers and postgraduate students interested in environmental studies and climate change, who emphasized the importance of such events in strengthening research capacities and enabling the use of advanced scientific tools in analyzing environmental issues.
