Within the framework of strengthening scientific cooperation and exchanging expertise with research institutions, the Remote Sensing Center at University of Mosul conducted a scientific field visit to the Soil and Water Division / Agricultural Research Department / Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, with the participation of the Director of the Center and a number of specialized researchers from the Center.

During the visit, both sides exchanged scientific views and expertise and discussed prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of research studies, training courses, and the provision of agricultural and environmental services, in a manner that enhances the role of the university in community service and sustainable development projects.

The visit also included an inspection of the laboratory equipment and technologies used in soil and water analysis, as well as an overview of laboratory workflows and the scientific methods adopted in analyzing agricultural and environmental samples. These activities contribute to supporting research studies and advancing scientific and research applications related to Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
