Master’s Thesis Defense by a Staff Member of the Remote Sensing Center

A Master’s thesis defense was held for Mr. Safouk Abdullah Mahmoud Al-Wakaa, a staff member of the Remote Sensing Center, on Monday, August 24, 2026.

The thesis, entitled “Organizational Vigilance and Its Role in Enhancing Strategic Resilience: An Exploratory Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Administrative Leaders at the University of Mosul,” was awarded a Grade of Excellent.

The thesis addressed the topic of strategic resilience and its role in enhancing organizations’ ability to adapt to changes and challenges. The study was based on an exploratory survey of the opinions of a sample of administrative leaders at the University of Mosul, contributing to efforts to improve administrative performance and support effective institutional practices.

This academic achievement is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), which emphasizes access to higher education, skills development, and lifelong learning; Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through the development of professional skills and capabilities; and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), given the thesis’s focus on institutional development, efficiency, and resilience.

On this occasion, the Remote Sensing Center extends its congratulations to Mr. Safouk Abdullah Mahmoud Al-Wakaa on obtaining his Master’s degree with a Grade of Excellent, wishing him continued success, achievement, and further excellence in his academic and professional career.
