Remote Sensing Center Participates in an International Conference at Kadyrov State University in the Chechen Republic

The Remote Sensing Center at the University of Mosul responded to an invitation from Kadyrov State University in the Chechen Republic to participate in an international conference held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of President Akhmad-Haji Kadyrov. The conference was held from 24 to 26 August 2026 in the Chechen Republic.

The Center was represented at the conference by Prof. Dr. Hikmat Subhi Al-Daghestani, a Senior Professor at the Center, who participated in the conference activities and delivered specialized scientific lectures as part of the conference program. His contributions addressed several scientific topics related to his field of expertise, reflecting the academic excellence and extensive scientific experience of the Center and its academic staff.

This participation reflects the Remote Sensing Center’s commitment to strengthening its scientific and academic presence at international forums and expanding opportunities for scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange with universities and research institutions worldwide. It also contributes to the exchange of expertise and knowledge and to opening new avenues for joint academic and research collaboration.

The participation is also aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the exchange of academic knowledge and expertise; SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by supporting scientific research and the exchange of expertise in scientific and technological fields; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening international academic and scientific cooperation and fostering partnerships among educational and research institutions.
