Faculty of Tourism Sciences Council Meeting.

The Faculty of Tourism Sciences Council held its regular meeting on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud. Also in attendance were the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Zeina Zuhair, and the heads of the scientific departments at the college.

Dr. Mahmoud began the session by welcoming the council members, wishing everyone success in carrying out their assigned tasks in service to our university and advancing academic endeavors.

The council members discussed several agenda items, including:

  1. Monitoring student attendance and punctuality.
  2. Following up on scientific activities of the departments.
  3. Discussing the registration of faculty research and encouraging scholarly publications in reputable journals by ministry directives and university guidelines.
  4. Monitoring the college departments’ work and ensuring coordination to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Addressing various administrative, financial, and college needs.

After the meeting, the Dean expressed his gratitude to all council members for their serious discussions, which contributed to the decisions and recommendations made during the session.
