About Department of Tourism Studies
After establishing the College of Tourism Sciences, University of Mosul, the Tourism Department was established in 2018 as a stand-alone department. It is one of the scientific departments that grant a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Sciences, which entitles its holder the practice of tourism activity and allow him to obtain a license to open an office for tourism and travel.
After four years of studying certified and modern scientific tourism courses, the graduates will be an administrative employee, specialized in tourism work, and this is what the department’s curriculum confirms.
The department receives graduates of the preparatory stages, scientific and literary, as well as the top ten graduates of tourism and hospitality institutes in Iraq.
