College of Tourism Sciences

The Dean of our college, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, along with the heads and coordinators of the academic departments, welcomed a delegation from the College of Peace University in Baghdad. The delegation was represented by Professor Dr. Jamal Hameed Rashid Aldulaimi and Dr. Khaldoun Ibrahim Khalaf Al Nuaimi.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss and outline the broad lines for joint examinations, their implementation mechanisms, material selection, question formulation, monitoring, and evaluation. This initiative falls within the framework of the scientific cooperation program between educational institutions, as called for by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

It is worth noting that the College of Tourism Sciences and Al-Salam University signed a twinning and joint scientific cooperation agreement on May 14, 2022, which includes harmonizing curricula and conducting joint examinations.

At the end of the visit, the Dean commended the efforts of the committees in ensuring the success of the educational process in alignment with the ministry’s vision.
