College of Tourism Sciences

The College of Tourism Sciences participated in the Sustainable Development Festival, held under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Mosul, Prof . Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Ahmedi. On Sunday, May 5, 2024, the event witnessed awareness-raising activities and interactions regarding the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing that actions in one area will affect outcomes in others. It highlighted the need for development to balance social, economic, and environmental sustainability. Asst. Prof. Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid represented the college’s participation, and supervised the booth dedicated to Goal 12, focusing on responsible consumption and production. This goal aims to promote a green economy and achieve sustainable consumption and production patterns.
