College of Tourism Sciences

Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Ahmedi, and in the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, and the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the head of the Hotel Studies Department, Asst.Prof. Dr. Manal Abdul Jabbar Al-Sammak from the College of Tourism Sciences was honored. She was awarded the gold medal for achieving first place in the Creative and Community Project track of the Creative Arts Competition in its thirtieth edition. This recognition took place on Sunday, May 5, 2024, during the honoring ceremony held at our beloved university’s Grand Theater Hall.

The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Naif Mahmoud, extended his congratulations to Dr. Manal, proud of her accomplishments, and expressed gratitude for the university’s commitment to embracing outstanding ideas from its students and staff and supporting its creative talents.
