Academic Recognition at the Closing of Sustainable Development Week

Under the generous patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the University of Mosul held the closing ceremony of Sustainable Development Week, attended by a distinguished group of academic leaders, college deans, as well as faculty members and students, in an atmosphere that reflected a spirit of cooperation and a strong interest in sustainable development issues.
During the ceremony, the Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, was honored by the University President in recognition of her outstanding efforts and her active role in Sustainable Development Week, as well as in strengthening the college’s presence in this field.
The top student of the College of Tourism Sciences was also honored, emphasizing the university’s commitment to supporting outstanding students and motivating them to continue achieving academic excellence.
This recognition comes in line with the University of Mosul’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring quality education, through supporting academic competencies and promoting scientific excellence.
