The Head of the Department of Tourism Studies, Professor Dr. Raed Ameer Abdullah, participated on Thursday, April 30, 2026, as a member of the committee for the defense of a PhD dissertation submitted by the student Marwan Sameer Kazem, entitled: “Debates between Imam Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti and His Contemporaries: An Analytical Study.”

The defense took place at Umm Al-Rabeein Hall in the College of Basic Education.

This academic activity comes in line with the goals of sustainable development, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring quality education.
