Participation of the Head of the Department of Tourism Studies in a PhD Dissertation Defense

The Head of the Department of Tourism Studies, Prof. Dr. Raed Ameer Abdullah, participated on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, as a member of the committee for the defense of the PhD dissertation submitted by the student Zahraa Yaseen Hassan, entitled: “The Relationship of the Rulers of Al-Andalus with the Elite during the Emirate and Caliphate Eras in Nafh al-Tib by Al-Maqqari (1041 AH / 1631 AD).”

The defense took place in Umm Al-Rabeeain Hall at the College of Basic Education.

This academic activity comes in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring quality education.
