University of Mosul’s anniversary this year is celebrated widely by people of Nineveh and nearby provinces on official and public scales. The celebration started with Rector Kossay Alahmady holding the torch and setting the fire, in symbolism of determination, energy, and enthusiasm that match Spring festival airs.The event included many activities ranging from sport competitions to art shows, opening new labs, music parties, and many other activities.
