The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University of Mosul Presidency held a specialized workshop on the External Examiner Program on 5 November 2026, as part of its ongoing follow-up on the program’s latest developments and the mechanisms for fulfilling external evaluation requirements.

The workshop discussed the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in this regard, particularly its emphasis on improving educational outcomes and enhancing academic performance in line with international academic standards.

The workshop was attended by the Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Waleed Hazim, along with a number of the department’s lecturers. Participants emphasized the importance of preparing the university’s colleges to manage external evaluation processes in a manner that strengthens the University of Mosul’s position within international quality standards and contributes to sustainable development in line with Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 17.
