The President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, directed the activation of the university’s scientific research support regulations for research papers published in international databases, including Scopus and Clarivate, that do not meet the eligibility requirements for the scientific research publication incentives approved by the Ministry.

He also instructed the colleges’ financial funds to provide support for such research in accordance with the applicable research support regulations and to disburse the amounts allocated under these regulations. This initiative aims to encourage researchers at the University of Mosul and motivate them to continue publishing in reputable scientific journals, thereby strengthening the university’s academic standing and advancing its research activities.
