In compliance with the Iraqi MOHESR instructions to elevate readiness against disaster risks, and to reinforce the commitments taken by University of Mosul to be for the people of Mosul and Iraq, a Disaster Risk Reduction Unit was created in the Remote Sensing Center on January 5th, 2022. The unit is to be collaboratively administered with Nineveh Governorate and is assessing priorities in terms of possible disasters precautionary procedures.
