Prof. Stefan Maul of Heidelberg University visited the University delegated to sign a cooperation memorandum in the field of archaeology on April 27th, 2022.The threefold agreement signed by Rector Kossay Alahmady and attended by Dean of College of Archaeology, Yasmin Abdulkarim, included training students how to handle and read Cuneiform tablets, the manipulation of modern technologies in excavation, documentation, and preservation of antiquities, delivering lectures by archaeology experts from Heidelberg University to students of archaeology in Mosul.
