The increasing interest in the way University of Mosul is going after liberation and asserting its scientific stature being one of the important academic institutions in the world, can be seen in the continuing follow-up and coverage by western media. In the same way, Rector of University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamaladdin Al-Ahmedy receives the journalist, Tine of the widespread Belgian magazine MO in his office today, Thursday October 22, 2019. The Rector answered the journalist’s questions, which covered various axes like the University’s return and rising to meet its due prestigious position, the reconstruction after liberation from the terrorist gangs, the intellectual and scientific efforts exerted to the good of society, the University’s crucial contribution in establishing societal peace through bringing the students together in various programs. Last, Rector Al-Ahmedy explained to the journalist that he is doing his best to assemble international support to help rebuild what is destroyed and that he is looking forward to make the University better than before.
